Same as GB221 with the exception of special jacks. Arranged to cut off the receiver of a headset if the headset transmitter is disconnected by partially withdrawing the plug . Standardized in PT&T G.A.L.E. letter 1313 9/26/69, and complies with the CPUC order regarding monitoring. To minimize transmission impairment, it is recommended that this unit be used with headsets and handsets equipped with transmitter cutout or push-to-talk switches.
