voice communication, access control, cctv, cctv security system The NDRM Rack Mount System from Aiphone provides voice communication throughout a facility and integrates with access control/CCTV security systems. The NDRM is designed for communication between a central master console and remote intercom stations. It integrates with existing access control and video surveillance systems all from one central location. In addition to communication to remote locations, an external device can be activated, such as a CCTV camera when the associated sub station is selected, a door strike or maglock can be selectively controlled, or both functions can be included. The master station can accommodate up to 100 remote stations and has the flexibility to call up cameras and release doors or gates associated with remote station locations. It's also equipped to communicate with and control up to 20 locations. The add-on panel can accommodate up to 40 locations with selective control. Each panel occupies three rack spaces in a standard EIA 19” rack. All of the controls for the system are located on the front of the master panel for easy access. A jack is provided for the modular handset (or telephone headset) for more private communication.

In offices with security consoles, the intercom can be mounted in the rack console along with other security equipment. The supplier's NE-NVP/B substation is vandal-proof and weather-resistant, and has a standard call button and red emergency button. The NDRM Rack Mount Intercom System provides a convenient and reliable means to communicate and confirm access to secured areas from one central control office. All other features, functions, and components are the same as a standard NEM system.
